About Me
My name is Heather Jefferson. I am a mother of two beautiful daughters and a wife to a loving husband of 36 years. I am a E-500 RYT, yoga teacher trainer, wellness manager, and now published author. Over the past 20 years, I walked a profound healing path. I experienced some of the darkest days of my life and the most beautiful healing moments. My upcoming memoir, Daughter Unbound: Breaking the Chains of Generational Trauma, is a raw, honest, and triumphant examination of the effects of generational trauma and the possibility for enduring transformation and healing.

My healing journey
My healing journey began with debilitating panic attacks and anxiety. As I sought to understand the roots of my illness, I discovered much about myself and my family lineage. Generational trauma continues until someone arrives in a family to break the chains. This path is my soul contract in this lifetime. Join me in discovering how one person can make all the difference. Through amazing healing practices, dedicated self-study, and meaningful connections with others, I released myself from the chains of the past and found my way home to myself.

From journal to published memoir
Journaling has always been a vital way to process my feelings in real time and record discoveries I made on my yoga mat, through breathwork, and in nature. In October of 2019, a healer told me that my throat chakra was blocked. She asked me, "Do you have something that needs to be said?" I knew at that moment what needed to happen. I went home and opened a notebook, and the words poured from my heart onto the paper.

A message to my readers
Like yours, my story is universal. I truly believe that we are all connected on a soul level. In sharing my past and present with you, I hope you feel a connection--with me and with your heart--and that you feel less alone. I hope my path inspires you to discover your own tools for transformational healing.
"Heather's words resonated deeply. Her journey is a testament to the power of healing and self-discovery. I feel truly inspired."
